Jewish Studies Education is happening in Nasielsk

Beginning in the 2021 school year, teachers in the elementary school system in Nasielsk began the monumental task of creating a Jewish studies program. With the support of the Nasielsk Society, principals and local educators, these teachers soft launched the program. Jewish studies is now being integrated into the curriculum. Now, as one walks through the hallway, one can hear Kindergarten students being read Jewish folk tales and older students being educated about the history of Jews both in Nasielsk and Poland. The Nasielsk society is committed to supporting these teachers in their efforts to make Jewish studies a integral part of the school curriculum.
